During my recent stay at this charming historic property, I had the opportunity to experience a blend of tranquility and culinary delight set amidst stunning vineyards. Upon arrival, the welcome drink was a thoughtful touch, introducing us to the local flavors. Our room, decorated with antique furnishings, offered a genuine country house feel, complemented by well-kept amenities including air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Dining at the onsite restaurant requires a reservation, though the gourmet breakfast spread was one of the highlights of our stay. The self-serve aspect allowed for personal preferences, with options like homemade bread, delightful cheeses, and fresh fruit. I felt the children’s menu could be improved, given our experience with limited options for our infant. The expansive grounds provided ample opportunities for peaceful exploration, and the reception’s attentiveness was a significant plus. While I appreciated the luxury, it’s worth considering whether the experience fully justifies the pricing, particularly for families with younger children. The balance of value and ambiance is noteworthy but requires careful thought.
